Frooza Clarke won a scholarship to study Art at Watford College of Art and Design, obtaining Dip AD in graphic Design, she later studied Fine Art painting, B.A. (Hons) at Byam Shaw School of Art, London.
Born in South west Iran, she has lived and worked in London most of her life but after a period of working for Qantas Airways and living in cities such as Sydney and New York she returned to practicing Art permanently in London. Her general ideas based on her experiences are invariably the starting point of her work, combined with memory, personal themes or current issues. Art works are grouped in themes but each must possess it's own separate character and existence as metaphorical indications of her deeper purpose in the painting. She has exhibited in commercial galleries, private venues and large city firms such as Lloyds of London and Withers LLP at 16 Old Bailey. Also, at Affordable Art Fair and London Art Fair.
She works in abstract or representational form mainly in mixed media, relief type collages, oil and egg tempera.
Frooza lives and works in London.
