Frooza Clarke won a scholarship to study Art at Watford College of Art and Design, obtaining Dip AD in graphic Design, she later studied Fine Art painting, B.A. (Hons) at Byam Shaw School of Art, London.
Born in South west Iran, she has lived greater part of her life in London, and several years in cultural cities such as Sydney and New York while working for Qantas Airways, experiences which has greatly contributed to her work. However, her Ideas are the starting point of her paintings, combined with memory, personal themes or current issues. Art works are grouped in themes but each must possess its own separate character and existence as metaphorical indications of her deeper purpose in the painting. She has exhibited in commercial galleries, private and public venues such as Chelsea Harbour Millennium Hotel, Ice House at Holland Park, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and large City firms such as Lloyds of London and Withers LLP at 16 Old Bailey. Also, at Affordable Art Fair and London Art Fair.
She works in abstract or representational form mainly in mixed media, relief type collages, oil and egg tempera.
Frooza lives and works in London, her work is currently represented by Saatchiart Gallery ( www.saatchiart.com/froozaclarke) a leading international online gallery based in USA.
